Typical Job Descriptions for Staff Members Include:

Senior Systems and Logistics Manager
Program Managers, Logistics Engineers, and ILS Managers will be asked to apply their familiarity with various RM&A models, and combination of Performance Based Logistics (PBL); Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T); Logistics Management Information (LMI); Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR); Logistic Support Analysis (LSA); Work Breakdown Structure (WBS); Configuration Management (CM); Logistics Technical Documentation Support and Test Equipment; Provisioning and Supply Support; Maintenance Planning; Integrated Logistics Support (ILS); and Reliability (hardware and software) in development of effective logistics programs for our customers. A staff member's intimate knowledge of Government Acquisition and Support processes, understanding of Performance Based Program Management, and Logistic Program Development will be utilized daily. Characteristics such as excellent planning, report writing, and presentation skills will ensure our company goals are met. An advanced degree in Industrial Systems Analysis or Engineering provides the basis for a structured approach and detailed analysis of complex systems. Military acquisition experience at or above the 05 level will allow the insights necessary to develop program solutions that maximize utilization of existing processes and infrastructure.

Maintenance Analyst
As a maintenance analyst, you will be responsible for developing detailed maintenance procedures and identifying support resources needed to accomplish those procedures by reviewing engineering drawings and other technical data. Your ability to analyze systems and equipment to determine operation and support requirements will be integrated with other logistics activities to ensure successful fielding. The position will utilize your experience in interpreting technical drawings and schematics and relating that information to a hands-on operating and maintenance environment. Proficiency with MS Office products, practical maintenance experience (preferably in a military service environment), and effective communication skills will help ensure your success in this position.

Technical Writer
An experienced technical writer will prepare operation and maintenance manuals for commercial and military systems. The successful staff member will have an understanding of electromechanical equipment, possess good writing and computer skills, and be able to interpret engineering drawings. Experienced writers will have a solid background in commercial and military technical manual standards and be proficient with desktop publishing tools, such as FrameMaker, SGML, and IADS.

Logistic Engineer
As a Logistic Engineer at ALE, you will apply logistic and systems analysis techniques throughout a system's life cycle to translate customer logistics requirements into cost-effective equipment designs and logistic support concepts and plans for implementation. ALE has developed tools and techniques that will assist you in effectively influencing system design for supportability and designing effective support systems that represent the best value solution for our customers.

Specialty Engineer
As a Specialty Engineer at ALE, you will perform Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) predictions, Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA), hazard analyses, maintainability analyses, safety, human factors, or other specialty analyses, and will prepare reports to document the results. Through working with customer specifications and industry established guidelines, the analyst develops quality analyses that add value to customer products or services. Products on which you may work involve ships, aircraft, ground transportation, and industrial processes and the equipment and systems that make them up. Our approaches regularly focus on analysis performed during conceptual and detailed design phases to develop the best value solution for our customers. A willingness to develop expertise in specialty engineering disciplines (Reliability, Maintainability, Safety, Testability, Logistics) is essential.

Systems Analyst
As a System Analyst at ALE, you will apply logistic and systems analysis techniques throughout a system's life cycle to translate customer requirements into cost-effective equipment designs, logistic support concepts, and plans for implementation. You will be involved in building and using models that relate performance to total cost of the system. Products involve ships, aircraft, ground transportation, and industrial processes. Our techniques focus on application of system analysis techniques during conceptual and detailed design phases to develop the best value solution for our customers.
